Description
These player boards were designed by my wife and I to replace the boards we use at our table. We play with these all the time, and this is the 4th version (the final version that we’ve finally agreed is ready to sell). We tried several of the different free options out there, and they were all lacking. They either had too little detail, the holes were too loose, they were too large/bulky,or they lacked some much needed features. After browsing Etsy, we came to the same conclusion for many of the sets we saw. Our boards feature the following…
FITS IN THE BIG BOX!
- 2 tone to allow easier reading of numbers/details. (Gold can be a little difficult to read, see the note below)
- All resource buckets have rounded edges to allow easy removal/sliding of resource cubes.
- .07mm (.003″) layer height means the layer lines from the 3D printing process are hardly visible. This gives moving resources around and off the board a smooth feel!
- .200″ thick, this slim fit is the perfect compromise to allow easy storage in the box, while retaining counters/resources on the player board.
- .005″ clearance on cubes means they fit in snug, but not too snug. You can shake the board at a 75° angle without losing trackers! Tip it upside down and the trackers will fall out.
- Retains all of the information from the standard board.
- Added in “10” and “20” counters for each resource.
- 6″ x 8″ x .200″ = Same size as the player mats that come with the game! Not too bulky, not too small.
- High quality, detailed design, we check every board before shipping to ensure there are no issues! (Although, if anything does get past us, make sure to message us so we can send you replacement pieces!)
We print to order, but we try to keep several sets on hand! You can buy your favorite color, or a full set. If you’re buying just a few boards and don’t care about color, the black contrasts quite well against the silver!
CAUTION: Depending on the lighting of where you’re playing, the yellow can be a little low contrast. In natural light it’s easy to read, but under yellow light (< 4000K) it can get a bit difficult to read as it begins to lose contrast against the silver. We do use a gold filament for the yellow (which is a little darker), but if you’re concerned we can supply a full set with another black board to replace the yellow one. Just let us know in a message after you place the order!
